Attribution — Remplace exact conversion attribution for Shopify

Attribution answers the question: did this AI agent conversation lead to this sale? Most chat tools answer this with aggregate correlation — "conversations this month, revenue this month." Remplace answers it at the individual order level.

How Remplace attribution works

Remplace uses a Shopify Web Pixel extension that fires on every completed checkout. The pixel reads two cookies set by the widget: a visitor ID (30-day persistence) and a conversation ID (24-hour persistence). When a checkout completes, the pixel sends both IDs to the Remplace server, which matches them against the conversation database and marks the order as attributed.

What you see in the dashboard

Each attributed conversation shows the order ID, order value, conversation transcript, and attribution type. You can see exactly what the visitor asked, what the agent said, and what they bought.

Why exact attribution matters

Aggregate attribution is not actionable. If "conversations correlated with 30% more revenue this month," you do not know whether the agent caused it, which conversations were valuable, or whether the agent is helping or hurting specific product categories. Exact per-conversation attribution lets you see which triggers convert, which products generate the best conversations, and whether specific agents are performing.
