A knowledge gap is a question a visitor asks that the agent cannot answer because the information is missing from the product catalog or knowledge base. Every AI agent has gaps. Most tools hide them. Remplace surfaces them.
After every AI response, Remplace runs a post-response classifier that checks whether the agent gave a genuine answer or a gap response ("I don't have that information", "I'm not sure about that", "You may want to contact support"). When a gap is detected, the question and AI-suggested answer are logged to the Gaps dashboard.
